The Companion Vienna will welcome its first guests in March 2026. We create high-quality hotels and food & beverage concepts that feel personal and lived-in. Places where craft, community, and thoughtful operations come together. As a core pre-opening team member, you will contribute to shaping an authentic guest experience and a meaningful team culture from the start.
We believe in mutual respect, ownership and transparent communication, creating a culture where colleagues support each other and take responsibility. Emotional presence and guest focus guide our service, while sustainability and continuous learning shape how we work and grow together.
As Front Office Manager, you will be a key player in bringing The Companion Vienna to life. From the planning of the intital meetings to the moment we welcome our first guests in March 2026, you will shape how people experience the hotel - both front and back of house. You will build, inspire and empower your team, create seamless guest journeys, and establish a warm, personal and community-driven service culture that reflects our values from day one. Your main responsibilities will be:
Team Leadership & Development
Lead and develop the Front Office team and support recruitment, onboarding and ongoing growth.
Guest Experience & Service
Ensure outstanding guest service by maintaining standards, training the team and using feedback to improve the guest journey.
Processes & Standards
Implement and continuously optimise Front Office procedures to streamline workflows and increase efficiency.
Financial & Revenue Performance
Monitor KPIs, drive revenue initiatives and contribute directly to departmental financial targets.
Collaboration & Reporting
Coordinate closely with the GM, HR, Housekeeping, F&B and Admin to ensure smooth communication and accurate reporting.
We are looking for an experienced Front Office leader who loves creating memorable guest experiences and inspiring a team to do the same. You enjoy training and developing a new team, thrive in a dynamic pre-opening environment, and take a hands-on approach to improving processes and performance. You are warm, approachable and collaborative - someone who embodies the Companion spirit of community, authenticity and belonging. If you’re ready to lead with energy, positivity and a focus on both guests and your team, we’d love to meet you.
