This is an extraordinary opportunity for a talented and ambitious chef with at least two years of experience in a Michelin-starred kitchen, a commitment to precision, and a drive for continuous growth in fine dining.
While your focus will be on our Michelin-starred restaurant, you will also be part of Vila Joya, an exclusive and prestigious boutique hotel where we create a welcoming “home” for both our guests and our team. Key Responsibilities:
● Work closely with our experienced team to prepare and present dishes to the highest Michelin-starred standards.
● Ensure consistency and creativity in plating, flavor, and execution.
● Maintain impeccable kitchen hygiene and organizational habits in a high-pressure environment.
● Support junior chefs, fostering teamwork and knowledge-sharing.
● Adapt to evolving menus and techniques, continuously refining your skills.
● Manage your station with efficiency and precision, ensuring smooth service flow.
Our Ideal Candidate Must Possess:
● At least 2-3 years of experience in a Michelin-starred kitchen, demonstrating technical expertise and attention to detail.
● A creative yet consistent approach to fine dining, balancing innovation with precision.
● Excellent use of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment and processes.
● A team-player mentality, thriving in a collaborative and high-performance kitchen.
● Passion for food and eagerness to learn from one of the industry's best.
● A fair level of English, ensuring clear communication with our diverse team.
● Strong stress and pressure management skills, excelling under demanding service conditions.
● Excellent kitchen hygiene, organization, and "clean as you go" habits.
● Culinary school diploma.
